Well…….The Heart of Darkness and the DREGs Volume 2 have sold out. There is a waiting list. We have a number of bottles aside for people…..if you no longer want your whisky, it isn’t a problem. Just let me know and they can go to new homes. I’ll attempt to make contact. If I can’t …….. you know what will happen. Sorry.
Got to make room for the “Chaos and Intrigue”. Probably taking orders next week. Only 1 per person.
DREGS Volume 2
There are various methods by which you may achieve ignominy and shame. By murdering a large and respected family in cold blood and afterward depositing their bodies in the water companies’ reservoir, you will gain much unpopularity in the neighborhood of your crime, and even robbing a church will get you cordially disliked, especially by the vicar. But if you desire to drain to the dregs the fullest cup of scorn and hatred that a fellow human creature can pour out for you, let a young mother hear you call dear baby “it.”

We have sensible suggestions of (Not $1 million) $1000, $400, $350, $300, $260 and $50.00
That total is $2360.00. Average that and you get $393.00. (You know it makes sense. Sam K.)
The initial price is set.
To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, (WS)
A great deal of thought has gone into the debate over how to sell the DREGS Volume 2. A sea of troubles.
A decision has been made.
1.0 We will keep some for ourselves
2.0 We will have some available for the customers that have supported us from the beginning.
3.0 We will put the price up (boo hiss)
4.0 We will have a ballot for others (through the Barking Mad Club)
5.0 We will supply some to mates (only if they are willing to share).
Thank you to all those that have contributed to the debate.
MORE HEARTWOOD NEWS
Our @#$%^&* has a name, however, it has morphed from a common and extremely vulgar swear word to the “unspeakable” to the “Whisky that shall not be Named”. And to some, NO IT STILL DOESN’T SPELL “DOROTHY”
Willie Simpson of SEVEN SHEDS Brewery has used some of our barrels for the production of beer for the DARK MOFO event. Whisky IPA and Whisky Dark Inca. It is our intention to grab some of the barrels back for future whisky production. ALL GOOD
(Note : Congratulation to DW and the Dark MOFO crew for the success of this years event. Hobart was humming over the last week)
One final note from someone that is getting old and cranky. We can over think and over design to gain a perceived competitive edge. The Spiegelau Beer Tulip is the best whisky glass in the world
Still as always “ALL GOOD”
Houston, I have a problem. (Some would say “many”)
The DREGs Volume 2 is excellent. A blend of, who knows how many whiskies, probably all that we have released. It is complexed. It is layered. It is long. It is deep.
And it gets stronger, in every way
And it gets deeper, let me say
And it gets higher, day by day
And do I love you my oh my
Yeah river deep mountain high
If I lost you would I cry
Oh how I love you baby, baby, baby, baby
Sorry, random thoughts just popped into my head
It is ……you get the picture.
Now back to the problem.
We will only have around 90 bottles. Of that only 70 will be available. Rarer releases from other Australian Distilleries are being sold at prices around $500 to $1200 dollars regardless of their quality or age. The internal capitalist scumbag wants to consider this option……. Nah…….or…
However, the iridescent yellow labels will cost ($15.00 each)
1.0 Put up the price to an exorbitant amount ?
2.0 Run a lottery out of a hat?
3.0 Keep them all (like this option)?
4.0 Supply to mates only?
5.0 First in best dressed?
6.0 Online auction?
7.0 A combination of some of the above?
One given : 1 bottle only per person
We have till September to decide.
Good afternoon everyone…
